DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) Freeware

DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) Freeware

Direct X is basically a suite of various APIs that are used to handle different tasks regarding video, game programming and multimedia. Some of its most common APIs are DirectDraw, Direct3D, DirectSound, DirectPlay etc. That’s why, the name Direct X was suggested as shorthand word for all these APIs. Moreover, it also consists of a development kit that carries the some important runtime libraries in binary form along with proper documentation and headers that are used in coding.
Firstly, these runtime libraries were only configured by the games or user, explicitly. Windows95 was not included the feature of Direct X. But it was included later on with release 2 of Windows95 OEM. And after that, every version of Windows is equipped with the Direct X like Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98 etc.
It is a fact that technology of DirectX has been improving a lot alongside the enchantments in the hardware related to graphics processing. Microsoft is working hard for introducing new features in upcoming versions of Direct X. The main reason behind this is to enable the users to enjoy the experience of some amazing games on Windows platforms.
Similarly, Windows 7 assists you a lot to stay at top of your favorite games with some best visual effects. The latest version of Direct X is DirectX 11. By using this new version, you can experience the incredible look of speed races and some other high definition games. But you must consider this thing that you also need good graphics hardware as well in order to get high quality visual results.
